Column 2 shows descriptive statistics for patients with signs of severe febrile disease and a positive or missing malaria test, who are classified as “severe febrile disease (including malaria).” Column 3 shows descriptive statistics for patients with signs of severe febrile disease and a negative malaria test, who are classified as “severe febrile disease (other).” Columns 4 and 5 show descriptive statistics for patients with signs of severe pneumonia and severe dehydration, respectively. Patients with multiple severe disease indications are shown in multiple columns
