Inclusion Criteria

Exclusion Criteria

• Overweight/obese1

• Extreme obesity (BMI Z-score >4)

• 5.5–9 years of age

• Known syndromal cause of obesity

• Pre-pubertal (no pubic hair)

• Long term steroid use

• Generally healthy

• Medications associated with weight gain

 

• Chronic illness

 

• Significant dietary restrictions
