Reach

‘Reach’ represents the number of individuals that were exposed to and affected by the program. The measure includes the percent of employees that were exposed to HP content, including via organizational digital media, and the percent of employees that participated in HP activities.

Effectiveness

‘Effectiveness’ represents the potential impact of the program as a result of adequate pre-planning, including needs assessment, clear definition of aims and goals and planned process evaluation.

Adoption

‘Adoption’ refers to the extent of which an organization adopted the program. It includes the establishment of a steering committee, integrating the program into the yearly work plan and budgeting it, and the involvement of both management and employees.

Implementation

‘Implementation’ refers to the consistency of delivery of the program as planned, the program’s scope and whether those implementing the program were from within the organization or outsourced.

Maintenance

‘Maintenance’ represents the sustainability of the program, including existence of policy changes and institutionalization of the health promotor role within the workplace, enabling the maintenance of WHP in the organization.
