  1. Characteristics of newly diagnosed HIV patients presenting to the infectious disease center are shown with stratification by type of setting in which diagnosis occurred. The frequency and percentage of total sample is given, with the exception of age and CD4 where median value and range are provided. Patients could have multiple risk factors identified. Risk factors do not necessarily indicate the reason for testing by the setting in which the diagnosis occurred.
